New registration requirement for posted workers and EU self-employed workers in the Netherlands.

Applications are made via the online platform

This requirement applies to employers who come to the Netherlands with their own staff (temporary services), international companies that post workers to their branches in the Netherlands, and temporary employment agencies that provide temporary workers in the Netherlands. The obligation also applies to self-employed persons working in designated "high-risk sectors". Examples of such sectors are the agricultural, industrial and construction sectors.

Registration is necessary only for the secondment to the Netherlands, which started on or after March 1, 2020. If work has started before March 1, 2020, no notification is required.

After registering on PostedWorkers website, the completed report will be sent to your client. The customer in the Netherlands then receives a message asking them to validate the report. Therefore, the customer is obliged to check whether the data entered is correct. For this purpose, the customer must also log into the PostedWorkers website and check and approve everything is correct, or reject it when it finds irregularities.
